    This is a great restaurant. Yes, its a chain, but its a great one. Everything positive that you expect from a Red Lobster you will find here. My husband and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary 2 weeks late and we wanted simple, good food and that is what we got. There are other great seafood places in town but sometimes you don't want to be adventurous. LOL We were given a wait time of 25-30 minutes, and it was right on the mark. We were happy to see the restaurant and the bathrooms were very clean, considering how very busy they were. We were seated in a booth, near the drink station - which pleased us because we were away from most of the other customers (which is what we wanted). The waiter was a joy. He was knowledgeable and quick, and the one thing he wasn't sure of, he immediately got the answer to from another server. He kept our table bussed, our water glasses filled, our biscuit basket full, etc., without being obtrusive. The food was excellent. My husband had the Surf & Turf (steak & rock lobster tail). The steak was cooked exactly medium as he requested, the tail was presented properly and cooked very nicely, and the sides were as well. I had the Ultimate Feast. The shrimp (fried & "scampi") were tasty and well-done, the split lobster tail was succulent, and the crab hand? I asked for claw crackers and didn't even need them except for the claw. The shells broke by hand and the meat slid right out. Very generous portions too. We didn't have appetizers or dessert, the meal was just enough. We did ask to take the Cheddar Bay biscuits that we didn't eat home, and the waiter brought us fresh, hot ones out of the kitchen in a bag. I thought that was a nice touch. I can't say we will be back here any time soon, the prices are high but I cannot argue that because our meal was definitely worth it. I do highly recommend this if you want a very good seafood meal with no surprises.

    I eat out a lot and have been so disappointed in the service and the quality lately. Not here though - come have an awesome dinner and make sure to ask for Hope as your server. She's amazing!!

    We got some of our drinks wrong. Not once, not twice, but three times. We never got one single apology for the recurring inconvenience. The fourth time was the one they got right. Did I mention that all the we were asking was a kids sprite without ice?! The place looked empty, still took over 40 minutes for our food to come. Food was ok.

    Great food here can't argue that! I prefer to stop in when they offer endless shrimp, it's not listed on the menu but I get the coconut shrimp and the pineapple sauce it comes with is amazingly good it's a winner for sure. I had chicken with my meal with a sweet glaze over it, it was the best chicken I've had at a restaurant.

    Service was subpar. For starters, we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated although there were plenty of open seats. Perhaps more servers should have been scheduled to work. When we were finally seated, we were ignored for 15 minutes. We told the manager but by then, we were so hungry we had to leave. Several servers had passed by our table and we were never greeted, given drinks, or bread. Never going back to this one.

    I took a group of residents from an assisted living community for lunch on Wednesday. Our waitress , sandy was amazing and attentive the entire time. Sandy separated our bills for us without hesitation when we were ready to leave . We had a wonderful experience and we salute sandy for being so kind.

    This is our favorite Red Lobster in Jacksonville by far!! The food is always great, no matter what we order!! The staff is friendly and attentive, always making sure to bring biscuits and drinks to our table as quickly as possible!! If you're a Red Lobster fan I suggest you give this location a shot in the future!!!

    This is the worst Red Lobster I have attended. I'm actually seated in this establishment, as I type. The waiter was inconsistent, the service was slow. When we finally received our appetizers ( we ordered mussels) the had to send them back more than once... Because they served us closed mussels... Anyone who is educated in serving seafood knows you NEVER serve closed mussels.. The manager went to every other table except for our to ask us about the meal... Im assuming she knew we werent happy... All in all the service as well as the experience was unpleasant. I would NEVER wat here or recommend this place to anyone... Id rather go tobthe Shrimp shack down the street rather then pay the amount if money for the service I recieved today. I expected much more for my buck!

    We frequent this Red Lobster often and have always had great service and great food. It's definitely my favourite Red Lobster in the Jacksonville area. I tend to order the same thing just about every time. I love the shrimp scampi and the coconut bites. The coconut shrimp they have as an appetizer is wonderful too, but they are such huge butterfly shrimp that by the time I eat even half of the appetizer, I'm full. That's why I usually get the coconut bites with my meal. They are just as tasty, just a much smaller version. I do, on occasion get the crab legs here and they are good. But let's be honest, we live on the ocean, there are better places to get crab legs, so I don't order them very often here. Yes, yes, I know, since we live on the ocean there are better places to get shrimp too, but I love my shrimp scampi, so don't judge! LOL The restaurant is always very clean, as are the restrooms. Service is exceptional here. We've always had a manager come by to check on us during our meal; I always think that's a nice touch. If you happen to have a coupon on your phone (I'm signed up for their emails), you don't have to worry about printing it off. Just show your phone to the manager and that is perfectly find with them. I hear the wait can get kinda long on Friday and Saturday nights, but we've never had a problem with this because we usually eat dinner after 9pm. This means we are always seated right away. The only thing I don't recommend here are the alcoholic beverages. At least not the "fru-fru" pretty ones. They do not have a strong pour. Actually, they barely have any pour. I've never so much as even gotten a slight buzz. They have flatscreens in the bar area which is nice. Hubby and I both love sports and have asked to sit in the bar area several times so we could watch certain games that were on. This Red Lobster is located just off of the 295 loop, so it's easy to get to for those of you who are traveling.

    Despite what people say about red lobster I love this place! Therefore I decided to stop in for lunch today on my break from work. I'm very glad I did. For about $13 I got the delicious cheddar bay biscuits, a garden salad, and the lunch seafood platter with shrimp scampi, broiled fish and a grilled shrimp skewer (which cost a little more than the standard fried shrimp it usually comes with). All of it was super tasty. Service was great and everything came out fast which is important when you have limited time. I'll be back to this lobsta fah sho!

    Located in the suburban country-ghetto of Orange Park, you'll see people you would try to avoid in everyday life gathered in Red Lobster dressed in below-casual attire while dining in a restaurant with two dollar signs ($$) referring to its price range. I went with the 'rents there for Fathers' Day. Place was busy. Restrooms were decent. Environment was average. Waitress was pleasant even with the apparent exhaustion from four full tables. Let me get to the nitty-gritty.. We found a piece of paper in the bowl of seafood (lobsters, shrimp, mussels, etc.) we ordered. The piece of trash paper had a circular yellow sticker labeled "Tuesday" on it. Figured it was used to wrap the food in the fridge before its cooked. Notified the waitress--she was legit apologetic and told the manager stat. The manager on the other hand had an "alright what now" air about her. Stood there staring at us for a solid five seconds before she asked what was up. Appearing as if we bothered her from Netflix. The manager said she would remove the charge of the order (as she should) but did not apologize or at least pretend to be embarrassed that this establishment lacks care in food preparation. Quite a let down. We decided to not get the order replaced because we figured they would just remove the trash and give us the same dish. And the dish I ordered, this Captain D's looking creation of fried seafood, was over-salted. Shut them kidneys down! And over-priced. I mean, Gorton's frozen meals aren't expensive.. To sum it all up, lousy dining experience on what should have been a fun day. Never returning to this restaurant. Lost my appetite because all I had in mind were possible pieces of trash in my food: hair, nail clippings, condoms, tampons, used heroin needles, etc.

    Came here for lunch yesterday, and I've got to say, I have mixed feelings about the place. My lunch date and I walk in, and are told there is a thirty minute wait. We ask if we can dine at the bar instead of waiting for a table, they agree and send us in the direction of the bar. It took a full 15 minutes to get a drink order, and another 10 at least to actually get our drinks. Another 5 after that to get our complimentary rolls. They forgot the shrimp on my Cesar salad. The employee was very apologetic and kind about it all, they truly seemed understaffed. The food WAS wonderful though, as always. It took a full 2 hours to complete our dining experience. We did speak to the manager and he was very polite to us about the whole thing. And although they were apologetic, I hope they take heed to our advice about hiring a few more employees to work that shift.

    Worst service ever! Soup w no spoon...spoon 20min later...soup was cold and salty...drinks w no straws...waited forever for drinks and had to explain what the drinks were to the waitress...overall, food was ok but service was horrible... Oh yeah, my friend went as well and they have him a dirty spoon with chocolate on it for his mashed potatoes...gross! Will never go again...

    My party of 10 went here last night after a Wake. Two servers were assigned to our table. The server on my end of the table was amazing. She was friendly, attentive, and patient with my sister's kids (6 year old and 5 year old). She made sure the kids had crayons and had a natural warmth about her. Unfortunately, the server on the other side was rude and abrasive. She abruptly interrupted conversions several times. My father and uncle were mourning the loss of their brother and became quite aggravated. Towards the end of the meal, she began cleaning off our table in earnest--felt like she was scooting us along. They were not busy that Thursday evening. If anything, Red Lobster is consistent. Best item offered are the free garlic cheese biscuits.

    After a few more visits we are writing this place off for a while. I now understand why you never seen more than five tables full here. Wife's steak ordered med well, Came out with a cold enter and bloody. I ordered a Caribbean salmon on rice. My rice could not be seen and half of my salmon was under this yellow sauce. It looked like a bowl of soup with a piece of salmon in it. The service was once again very sparse as it took 10 minutes for anyone to see us at the table (three tables were full, empty restaurant). Delivered the food by another server and never seen our server till it was time for the check with our food barely touched as it was hardly edible. Manager once again non existent as she hides in the kitchen and only pokes out her head to survey the situation that she sends the server out to deal with. We figured it was a bad experience before, second coincidence of the same experience and third time, well we are done for a while. This place needs to turn it around or I can see this location going away.

    Please stop serving the lobster pasta. Where is Chef Ramsey on this. Claw ends galore the texture feels like uggggggghhhhhh in my mouth. Who the hell thought of this. Garbage in your mouth.

    My wife and I stopped here for a meal on our way from Atlanta to Daytona. It was a pretty positive experience, which was only slightly marred by our over-enthusiastic server who took "too much" interest in our table. All in all, a nice place to stop for tourists and locals alike.
